Professional Grade Pulling Power

If you have serious hauling and towing in your future, Sierra's available Max Trailering Package was created with you in mind. The heart of the package is a 6.2L Vortec V8 that pumps out 403 horsepower and a stump-pulling 417 pounds-feet of torque. Also included are a heavy-duty 9.5-inch (241 mm) rear axle, heavy-duty engine oil and transmission cooling systems, a trailering special equipment package with a weight-distributing hitch and an automatic locking rear differential. There's even an available integrated trailer brake controller. Equipped with the Max Trailering Package, Sierra is rated to tow up to 4853 kg (10,700 lb.).

Hybrid: Where Capability Meets Responsibility

Sierra Hybrid performs like the genuine GMC pickup it is, hauling payloads up to 704 kg (1553 lb.) and towing trailers weighing up to 2767 kg (6100 lb.). Yet in city driving, Sierra Hybrid consumes just 10.1 litres of gas every 100 kilometres — less than V6-powered sedans like the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and Ford Fusion.^** Underlying this feat is some of the most sophisticated hybrid technology available in any vehicle. Components include a 300-volt nickel-metal hydride Energy Storage System (ESS), an advanced Electronically Variable Transmission (EVT) and a regenerative braking system, to name a few. Essential components include a Z71 off-road suspension, an automatic locking rear differential, extended-travel Rancho^® shock absorbers and skid plates to protect your truck's underbody from rocks, debris and the like. Other highlights include specific on/off road tires mounted on chrome-clad aluminum wheels, fog lights, electronic air conditioning and a variety of style upgrades inside and out. The All Terrain Package is available exclusively on Sierra SLE and SLT Extended Cab and Crew Cab 4x4 models.
